|What is the Centerfire?||
The Centerfire is a portable power station. It comes with either a 50Ah or 72Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate battery and with inbuilt chargers, you can charge it from mains, vehicle DC supply and solar sources.
|Who is the creator?||
Topo is a family-owned Australian company that produces 12V power solutions. Founder, Francis Li has over 45 years experience and has created many well-established products and electrical components across the spectrum of DC power. These include agricultural electrical and electronics, off-grid and solar solutions as well as the recently popular Powertop portable power system. The Centerfire was created on the back of these experiences.
|What different outputs does it have?||
Safety and regulation
|What is the recommended temperature range?||32° to 95°F (0° to 35°C) is optimal for storage and 32° to 113°F (0° to 45°C) for normal operation.|
|Is it waterproof?||
While the Centerfire is not waterproof, the steel case is water resistant and is rated at IP63 for rain, dust, and other particulates when shut.
|How durable is it?||
Built into a steel case for rugged reliability, the Centerfire is protected from the rigors of daily use. The Centerfire may be the most durable, capable, and versatile power platform on the market.
|What is the uniqueness of the technology?||
Topo's battery management system features on-board cell balancing and monitoring features. It also protects the battery from overcharging and depletion. When the battery is close to depletion, it will emit an audible warning and will eventually cut off.
The charge rate for the battery is at 20A from AC to DC charger and up to 20A from Solar panel input. At these rates, you can quickly replenish your battery from any sources.
The Centerfire's 20A DC-DC charger allows you to charge from even low voltage DC systems. This is significant where your vehicle's power supply fluctuates to a voltage that would normally be considered too low to provide a charge.
|What type of battery is my Centerfire?||
The Centerfire uses a custom Lithium Iron Phosphate battery that comes in 50Ah which provides 600Wh and 72Ah that provides 864Wh.
|How do I charge my Centerfire?||
You can charge your centerfire from various sources and at the same time, mains (wall socket), vehicle DC supply or solar power. This gives you several options, the best of which will depend on your available power supply.
|Can Centerfire power my devices while it's charging?||
While the Centerfire can charge devices while charging, the internal AC charger is only rated for 10A and any greater draw will result in depletion rather than charging of the battery.
|How do I store my Centerfire?||
For optimal battery health, when not in use, store the Centerfire at room temperature in a well ventilated, dry environment with no exposure to the elements. It must be switched off.
|What is the battery life?||The battery will retain charge for 1 year.|
|How does it work?||
To charge simply run the appropriate power cable from AC, DC or Solar power source to the corresponding input (as marked).
Using your stored charge. Draw power from the Centerfires 12V outputs. 35A Grey mini connector and from canon socket.
|How much does weigh?||The 50Ah model weighs 9.5kg and the 72Ah 11.3kg|
|Can I replace the battery in my Centerfire?||
|How do I know if the battery is fully charged?||
A battery is fully charged when the Float LED indicator turns On and begins toggling between boost and float every few minutes. The internal display panel of your Centerfire will display battery capacity with 5 solid LED bars when disconnected from all charging sources.
|My battery has reached the end of its life cycle. How do I dispose of it?||As with all battery products, please review your local ordinances and guidelines as to the safe disposal or recycling of this lithium iron phosphate battery.|
|How many devices can it charge at once?||
